Dermal Fillers
Dermal Fillers (JUVÉDERM®, RESTYLANE, RADIESSE, VERSA)
Dermal fillers improve your skin's volume and smooth away facial wrinkles and folds. At Victoria Aesthetics, Victoria Gondar NP provides personalized dermal filler treatments to help clients achieve natural-looking enhancement and facial rejuvenation. Fillers can create luscious lips, sculpt cheeks, define the jawline, soften nasolabial folds, improve under-eye hollows, and much more.
Dermal fillers are injectable gels typically made up of hyaluronic acid (HA). These gels are used to add volume to specific areas of the face by mimicking the natural hyaluronic acid produced by the body. Because HA occurs naturally in the skin, the body generally accepts these fillers well. Once injected, they attract and retain moisture, creating volume and a smoother appearance. Over time, the body gradually metabolizes the filler.
Similar to neuromodulator treatments, different fillers may be better suited for different clients depending on skin condition, treatment goals, areas of concern, and the depth at which the filler is placed. Dermal filler treatments typically last between 6 and 18 months, depending on the individual and the treatment area. The dermal filler brands used at Victoria Aesthetics include JUVÉDERM®, RESTYLANE®, RADIESSE®, and VERSA®.
Poly-L-lactic Acid (Sculptura® Aesthetic)
Sculptra is an FDA-approved treatment that will restore your body’s own collagen. As a poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) collagen stimulator, Sculptra helps restore the deep underlying structure of the skin and thickens the dermis to diminish facial wrinkles and add volume naturally. Sculptra works with your body to help revitalize collagen production and restore your skin’s inner strength and volume. It works gradually over time and as the Sculptra PLLA microparticles are absorbed, they help stimulate collagen production. Rebuilt collagen strands begin gradually helping to restore facial volume and the look of fullness to wrinkles and folds.
